Senior Swingers Safety: Meet With Confidence
What protects you in the lounge, the scams to watch for and how to meet someone new.
You set the pace, and the lounge backs you up
Nobody in the lounge has to share anything they would rather keep private, and nobody has to answer a message they do not like. Here is what stands behind that, then the habits that keep a first meeting simple.
The protections are the same ones the main lounge uses, and the main safety page lists each by name. This page picks out the ones that matter most for members in their fifties, sixties and seventies, and the features page shows which tools come with each membership.
Six protections you can count on
Hidden real names
Members see your username and your nearest town. Your name, email address and exact location stay with you.
Verification you can see
Free ID verification and a live video check with a moderator put badges on profiles, so you can tell who has proved they are real.
Blocking in one tap
Block a member and they can no longer see you or contact you. Report them too, and a human reviewer will look into it.
Screened uploads
AI and human reviewers check photos, videos and posts as they go up, and blur anything that might be explicit.
Behaviour ratings
Every member has a rating built from how they treat others, and you can mark an interaction up or down in one click.
People on the end of the line
Real people staff the support team, and you can reach them by chat, phone or messaging whatever the hour.
Four signs that someone is not who they say
Scammers go where adults chat, and their patterns are familiar once you have seen them.
They ask for money
A loan, a gift card, a deposit, bank details. Nobody you have just met needs any of these. Report them at once.
They rush you onto another app
The lounge warns you when a chat heads for WhatsApp or similar, because that is where the monitoring stops.
They will not show their face
A verified badge or a short video call settles it. Someone who always has an excuse has told you something.
The story gets bigger each message
Emergencies, sudden travel, a sick relative. Slow down, check, and talk to someone you trust.
Meeting another couple for the first time
A drink, a chat and your own way home.
- Choose a public place in daylight or early evening, and tell a friend where you are going.
- Travel on your own, so you can leave when you want to.
- Agree your limits together beforehand, and agree a word that means "we are leaving".
- Keep your drinking steady and your phone charged.
The full walk-through is in your first swinger meet on the main site.
Looking after your health
Condoms and regular testing belong to every sensible night, whatever your age.
- UK readers: the NHS describes its sexual health clinics as confidential and open to everyone, and names a condom every time as the best protection against HIV and other STIs.
- Australian readers: healthdirect advises regular STI checks while you are sexually active, plus one before you begin with a new partner.
Safety questions we hear
Who can see my photos and my town?
Other members can see the photos you choose to add and your nearest town. They cannot see your real name, your email address or where you live, and you can block anyone you would rather did not look.
What should I do if someone asks me for money?
Say no, stop replying, block them and report them. Nobody in the lounge has a good reason to ask for money, and the moderators act on reports quickly.
Is the video check difficult?
It is a short live call with a moderator, who confirms you are the person in your photos. You do not have to send any documents, and the badge it earns shows on your profile afterwards.
